Our mission is to practically explore mechanisms of cross-innovation and co-creativity and make them accessible to the general public. Six collaboration programmes will be implemented by May 2025, accompanied by workshops, keynote speeches and public presentations.

Your tasks:

  • Overall coordination of the FUNKEN Kolleg – from planning to implementation of all project activities
  • Acquisition and support of participants from art, science and business
  • Supporting the organisation and equipping of workspaces for programmes and workshops
  • Organising and supporting specialist impulses, workshops, networking events and presentations of results
  • Ensuring the documentation and publication of the project results
  • Public relations work relating to the project
  • Budget planning and control as well as communication with funding organisations

What you should bring with you:

  • High motivation and initiative as well as the ability to work in a dynamic and creative environment
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in collaboration between art, science and business
  • Completed university degree, ideally in cultural management, project management or a related discipline
  • Experience in project management, preferably in interdisciplinary and culture-related projects
  • Knowledge of the Saxon scene

What we offer:

  • Full or part-time with flexible working hours,
  • Fixed-term until the end of May 2025, with the prospect of extension, depending on further funding and project development
  • Work in a small, committed team
  • Opportunity to shape and help build a new type of hub for artistic-technological research and discourse
  • Place of work: Chemnitz – partly remote possible
  • Collaboration in a network of local cultural and creative professionals

If you are interested in working in an innovative environment that redefines the boundaries between art, science and business, we look forward to receiving your application at bewerbung@kreatives-chemnitz.de including a letter of motivation and CV by 23.09.24.

We look forward to hearing from you.
